Is grammar necessary?
When you learnt your first language at a very early age, you learnt grammar without having to think (consciously) about rules. Learning a second language becomes more and more difficult after the age of something in between six and twelve. Then grammar rules, just like understanding the learning processes, become extremely useful.
Grammar is usually considered difficult and strange, but realise now that grammar is simply the way you arrange your words in order to make your speech or writing understandable.
Knowledge of grammar is a cornerstone in mastering a language, since it facilitates your reading, listening, and writing.
Decide now that grammar is your servant, not your master!
