General tests/exercises at three levels, and a special test/exercise on academic vocabulary (AWL). The general tests are generated randomly from a database; level 1 up to 8,000 , level 2 up to 15,000, and level 3 up to 25,000 words. AWL is based on Coxhead's "academic word list" of 560 words. Those words are especially useful for university students. Always remember that taking a test is one thing, acting on the result is quite another. Make sure you follow up on your tests by checking your result carefully and doing the exercises (links at the bottom of results pages). Also make a habit of entering useful words into your personal glossary.
